Boss Film Studio's founder and President is effects legend Richard Edlund who has a list of credits unparalleled in the effects industry. After working with ILM on such films as RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and the STAR WARS trilogy, Edlund put together Boss to complete effects for GHOSTBUSTERS and 2010.

During the 1980's, something interesting happened: Boss developed a recognizable style for visual effects, something no other effects house can claim. Just look at some of the great pre-digital effects films of the eighties, like DIE HARD, POLTERGEIST II, BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA and GHOSTBUSTERS. These brilliant optical effects had personality and character--and they still hold up extremely well in the digital 1990's.

Boss consistently creates incredible effects, and is pioneering a new technique in their latest film, MULTIPLICITY, which makes extensive use of new real-time on-set compositing tool to assist director Harold Ramis and actor Michael Keaton choreograph hugely complicated scenes of Keaton portraying multiple clones of himself in the same shot.
